Jennifer Negus
Jennifer Negus has a practice that includes commercial and corporate disputes, regulatory and disciplinary matters and inquiries and public prosecutions including Commonwealth and State criminal offences and misconduct. Jennifer also has experience in family protective orders and probate.
Formerly a State Prosecutor at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for Western Australia, Jennifer has appeared as Counsel for the State in all forms of hearing including trial and appeal in the courts of criminal jurisdiction as junior and lead Counsel, as well as on secondment to the WA Police Prosecuting Division. Her experience also includes extraditions, civil proceeds of crime and advice to the Corruption and Crime Commission of Western Australia.
Jennifer is a member of the external brief out counsel panel for both of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for Western Australia.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Laws and lectures in criminal law and forensic advocacy at Curtin Law School.
