Membership Fees

A once yearly subscription fee is issued to those who seek to become and continue as members of the Western Australian Bar Association. Below are the categories of membership and applicable subscription fees for the 2012-2013 year.

These amounts are review by Bar Council and are subject to revision from time to time.

All amounts are GST inclusive.

Queen’s Counsel and Senior Counsel	$ 1,650.00
10 years admission or over	$ 1,243.00
Under 10 years admission	$ 825.00
Interstate Queen’s Counsel and Senior Counsel	$ 550.00
Interstate members (non Queen’s Counsel and Senior Counsel)	$ 275.00

The annual subscription fee is invoiced in June/July each year. New members starting prior to or after June are assessed at a pro rata monthly adjusted fee.

The granting of reduced fee memberships of the Association to individual members is at the absolute discretion of Bar Council.
