The WABA has adopted a Constitution which governs the Association. The WABA has also adopted Conduct Rules which regulate the professional standards of its members. Upon becoming a member of the WABA barristers are required to observe the requirements of the Constitution and Conduct Rules. The Disciplinary Committee considers any conduct that may amount to a breach of the Conduct Rules and may make recommendations to Bar Council.
